People are holistic beings. We yearn for connection with ourselves and others. When we feel a lack of connection within ourselves or within our community around us, we lean into behaviors and thinking patterns that help cope with these disconnections. My goal in therapy is to help bring awareness to these areas of disconnection seen in thinking patterns, behaviors, and a person's history and work towards change that applies to all holistic capacities (relational, academic, social/communal, professional, developmental, mental/emotional, and spiritual).
I offer in-person and online appointments. My counseling focuses on the holistic person and is client-focused, respectful, and culturally sensitive.
It takes courage to come to counseling; sharing your story and moving towards change and growth can be hard. Finding a safe space to do these things is an important part of counseling, and my goal is to cultivate an environment that allows for a safe space to dive into these areas.
